Our first full 3D printed aircraft kit – the 1/48 A‑7D/E Corsair II

ResKit is proud to announce a major milestone for our company: we are currently developing our first full 3D printed aircraft kit – the 1/48 A‑7D/E Corsair II. This all‑new model is being engineered from the ground up to deliver the same sharp detail and accuracy modelers know from our accessories, now applied to an entire airframe.

The kit will feature a highly detailed cockpit, fully rendered wheel bays and landing gear, busy avionics and gun bays, and fine external surface engraving, all produced using high‑resolution 3D printing for crisp edges and scale‑thin parts. Separate control surfaces, open panels and rich internal structure are being designed to let builders pose their Corsair II in dynamic display and maintenance configurations straight from the box.

An intermediate development prototype of the A‑7D/E Corsair II will be on display at Spielwarenmesse 2026 in Nuremberg, Germany (Hall 7, A‑25), where visitors can see the current state of the project, inspect the level of detail up close, and talk with our team about what’s coming next. We invite aircraft modelers from around the world to visit the stand, share their feedback, and be part of ResKit’s next big step into complete aircraft kits.
